The Pill Joy Story

Hi! I’m Thredd, the artist behind Pill Joy. I accidentally started Pill Joy back in 2021.

That year, I wanted a fun pill organizer for myself and I scoured the internet to buy one but couldn’t find any. So I started experimenting with different techniques to make one for myself. It was so much fun that I made more fun pill organizers and gifted them to friends. Then their friends wanted some and word of mouth spread. Everyone wanted to upgrade their pill routine!! I posted my creations on Etsy and I sold over 200 pill organizers within the first month. I had accidentally created a business, but it was more than that. People sent me messages about how much having a fun pill organizer meant to them. When people saw my creations at art markets, they would cry because this was the first time they had encountered something medical that was so affirming of their whole self.
